SCANZ 2023 Conference
Our 2023 conference was held in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, with the theme:
"Techtopia: Navigating the power, potential and perils of technology in science communication”
SCANZ is proud to host Aotearoa New Zealand’s only science communication centred annual conference and in 2023 we considered the power, potential and perils of technology. We facilitated a series of speakers, panel discussions and workshops that explored science communication through the lens of rapidly-changing technology.
Our programme gives more information on the keynotes, panels and workshops. Keynotes, panels and lightning talks were livestreamed for online participants, and recordings are now available for attendees and SCANZ members.
