If this is your first login to the site, your default password is your email address.
I did enter my password, but the §¶$%*&#@!!! system won't let me into the members-only section! What should I do?
A couple of factors may be conspiring to keep you out of the members-only section.
- Re–check that you are entering the correct password.
- Does your browser accept cookies? Cookies are small pieces of code sent from a web server to be stored on your computer. When you log into the members-only section, our server sends a cookie to your browser to help it identify you as you move through the study room. If your browser has been told (by you or the person who set up your computer) not to accept cookies, then our server's cookie will not be accepted, and as a consequence, our server will not let you into the study room (even if you are entering the correct login information!). The only solution is for you to allow your browser to accept our server's cookie.
If you are using Internet Explorer 4.0 to enable cookies, from the view menu select Internet Options, select the advanced tab and under security make sure that cookies is set to 'accept cookies always' or 'prompt before accepting cookies' and accept cookies while using this site.
If you are using Netscape Communicator 4 to enable cookies, from the edit menu select preferences, select the advanced category and under cookies ensure that this is set to 'Accept all cookies.'
If you have one of these versions then you will have to upgrade to a version that does support cookies for the studyroom to work.
Another reason for cookies not being accepted could be that your hard drive is full.
